Mangrove Café’s creative menu is influenced by cuisines from around the world, with a specialty in seafood, fruits and vegetables indigenous to Southwest Florida. Proprietors Chef Doug Amaral and Diane Amaral serve moderately priced gourmet fare called Global Comfort Cuisine. Creations such as My Sweet & Sour Snapper with Mango Balsamic Glaze, Veal with Wild Mushrooms & Mango Marsala are among the popular items. Mangrove Café opened in 1992, and is winner of a Wine Spectator Award and the Naples Daily News Choice Award for International Cuisine. The restaurant also features an extensive wine list, outdoor dining, a full bar and a children’s menu.
